Analgesic and Anti-Inflammatory Properties of Caesalpinia (Bonduc) Seeds
Main Article Content
Abstract
The study evaluates the anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties of Caesalpinia bonduc seeds. The anti-inflammatory activity was tested on carrageenin-induced rat paw edema, and the analgesic activity was assessed using an acetic acid-induced writhing response in albino mice, along with a hot plate method in albino rats. Various doses (100, 200, and 500 mg/ml) of ethanolic extracts were tested.
